Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for another day and another week. We are grateful for each day you give to us.

Today is January 31^st. Just 31 days ago we were bringing in the New Year. This is a reminder of how precious our time here on earth is. Father, your word tells us that our lives are a mist that appears for a little while then vanishes. Help us to remember this as we go about our days.

Father, with each passing month, day, and year help us to make good use of our time.
We ask that you teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.

Lord, help us to be aware there is a season for everything, and a time for every matter under heaven. And while we take care of our daily responsibilities, help us to always be busy doing the work for the kingdom of God; as we will one day stand before you and give an account of what we’ve done.

As we make plans in our hearts, remind us to put our plans in your hands because you establish our steps.

Lord, thank you for answering our prayer, in Jesus Name…Amen.
