Today’s Prayer: Commitment

Father, in the name of Jesus, we give you praise for another day. Glory to the Lamb of God!

Father, as resurrection day approaches, we want to say THANK YOU. Thank you for keeping your commitment and going to the cross for our sins. You could have turned back knowing the pain, torment, shame and humiliation you had to endure, but you saw us, your children, and you finished your course. Thank you for rising again on the third day with all power in your hands. Because of your obedience and commitment, we are overcomers in you!

Today we commit our lives unto you, and we will trust in you. Father, because of all you have done for us, we ask that you help us to continuously present our bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable unto you, which is our reasonable spiritual service of worship.

When times are difficult, we will remember what Christ did for us over two-thousand years ago. We will fight the good fight of faith and we will finish the course you have set before us in, Jesus Name.

Lord, help us to obey you and keep your commandments and statutes which you have commanded us. Father, we thank you for giving yourself for our sins, so you might rescue us from this evil age, according to the will of our God and Father.

Lord, help us to follow you, keep your commandments, listen to your voice, serve and cling to you all the days of our lives.

In the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…Amen.

HE HAS RISEN!

Today’s Prayer: Life, Trust & God’s Promises

Hi guys! I pray you are well. Today, I am grateful that my family is safe and in the land of the living! Lord, I thank you for life!

Today’s prayer is a little different; it comes from a very personal place.

I want to thank My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Yesterday, my husband was in a terrible car accident! God’s angels protected him; he is fine but, it is a reminder of how often we need to pray and cover our families as well as pray for angelic protection when we are going about our day.

Father, I am so grateful for life! Yesterday could have been an entirely different day with a terrible ending, BUT GOD!!! Although I am frustrated because of what I have been experiencing, I WILL TRUST YOU. Father, as tears stream down my face, I know that those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.

Things are difficult right now and has been that way since we have begun our God-given assignment, but I am trusting you through each trial you lead me through. I WILL stand on your word. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt you are with me and my family.

As the body of Christ, we will not give up. We will stand on your promises no matter what it looks like because your promises are Yes and Amen.

I thank you for meeting my needs and the needs of your people! You know what we have need of before we ask, and we know you will supply ALL OUR needs according to your riches in Glory that is in Christ Jesus. We thank you that earth is the Lords’ and the fullness thereof. I am thankful that you OWN IT ALL, not man.

Lord, when it is all said and done, I know it will be good that I was afflicted.

I (We) trust you now and always in Jesus Name…Amen.

Today’s Prayer: Trust

Hello people of God!! I pray you are having an excellent week! If your week is not going the way you planned trust God! He is with you. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Dear Lord, today and always we will trust you. We know we will be faced with circumstances we never imagined, but we are grateful that nothing takes you by surprise. We continue to put our hope in you.

We will not lean on our own understanding but trust you with all our hearts. We commit our lives unto you. As we seek your direction, we trust you for the answer in all things; because we know your name, we will put our trust in you. And as we seek you, you will not forsake us. Glory to God!

We will sit in your presence in stillness because YOU ARE God! You will be exalted among the nations and the earth. We thank you for another day and we give you praise for life, health, and strength.

In Jesus name…Amen.

Today’s Prayer: Waiting

Hello People of God! Just in case you forgot, you are beautiful in the sight of God. You are fearfully and wonderfully made!

Lord, we give you thanks for who you are, and we are humbled by another opportunity to give you praise. Glory to God!

Lord, each of us is in a state of waiting. Whether it be waiting for our child to return to you, deliverance from addiction, waiting for our spouse, healing in our bodies, or a financial breakthrough, we are all waiting.

Lord, there are times when the waiting is difficult. But God, we know you are with us. Thank you for being good to those who wait on you and seek you. Lord, as we wait on you, help us to remain strong and let our hearts take courage.

Help us not to look at those who prosper in their own way, but be still and wait patiently on you. We decree and declare that we will not be weary in well-doing because we will reap if we don’t faint.

Lord, as we wait on you, thank you for renewing our strength. Lead us in your truth and teach us, for you are the God of our salvation and FOR YOU, we will wait all day long.

We trust your will, your way, and your plan. In Jesus Name…Amen.

Seek, Wait, Receive and Repeat

Hello everyone. I hope you are well and enjoying your long weekend.

Last Monday was my 13th wedding anniversary! My husband and I enjoyed our time together. We didn’t do a lot, but what we did was meaningful to us. What a blessed day. I am grateful to God for ordaining our marriage before the foundation of the world. Praise the Lord.

We are twenty-one days into the new year. There have been triumphs and challenges and through it all, I have been praising God. It has been my desire to grow in my walk with Christ as well as live the life he has given me. To be more like Him in every aspect of my life. I am learning to continually seek him first in all things big and small.

Jeremiah 29:11“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart” (NIV).

In July, I will turn forty. I am looking forward to it. I have been making all kinds of plans for the things I desire to do. While making my plans, I was reminded to keep God at the forefront of everything. God wants me to have an abundant life, but he also wants me to keep him first.

Matthew 6:33 – “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you” (KJV).

We must learn to take the scripture literally. We have to consistently seek God’s kingdom first so the things we desire can be added unto us, not the other way around.

I was recently reminded of this lesson a couple of weeks ago. In 2017 my family and I moved from Philadelphia to Georgia. One of the first visits we wanted to make was to the Georgia Aquarium. I heard such great things about it and could not wait to take my family. When I began planning it (I LOVE planning things), I looked online to get an idea of the pricing and boy was I shocked! For a family of five, the tickets including parking was about $170! Well…we just could not do that. My finances had drastically changed as a result of our move. I was no longer working, and my husband was the primary breadwinner. In my prayer time, I expressed my feelings to God and asked if he could open the door for my family to visit the aquarium. Six months went by and I could not find a coupon or discount code anywhere. All the while, my children were asking when we would go, and all I said was, “When the time is right.”

It was now 2019 and we still had not visited the aquarium. We visited other great places in Georgia, but not the aquarium. During the first week of January, my husband was out and about in Atlanta, and came across a group that was advertising a festival. The festival would take place the entire weekend and it included tickets to…you guessed it, Georgia State Aquarium.

For two adults and up to four children the tickets were a GRAND total of $54!! When I read the flyer, I lifted my hands in praise to God, because I knew this was the answer to my prayer. Not only did we get the tickets for $54, but we did not have to pay for the other sights within the aquarium that range from $25 pp to $75 pp. We did everything and it was FREE!!

On January 13th, the day before my wedding anniversary we visited the aquarium and had a wonderful time and a great family outing. I know it may seem small, but it was not small to me. God answered my prayer specifically and gave me more than what I asked for.

This is why we seek God in everything. He has perfect timing and he knows what’s best in all things. We must be careful not to go about life making our own plans while leaving God out. Sure, I could have saved up the $170, but look at what I would have missed out on if I had my own plan. My God gave me something better, and that is exactly what he wanted all along. This is why I trust him. He sees the end from the beginning. He knew, before I prayed, there would be a blessing bigger than what I requested.

There have been times God has answered my prayers immediately. And there are prayers I’ve been praying since I was ten years old that I am waiting to manifest. No matter how long, I will trust the process and continually seek his kingdom first. The longer the wait the bigger the blessing.

As children of God, we must remember God has our very best interest in heart. However, to get God’s best, there is a waiting process. The waiting process involves God working on our heart so we can be ready for the blessing.

Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope” (NLT).

With all the places I desire to go and things I desire to do, I am going to seek Him first. He knows the way that I take. He knows what’s best for me. I trusted Him with my life this far and I plan on going all the way.

Will you trust Him with the plans for your life?

Blessings.

Today’s Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you for another year to celebrate your birth. Help us to continue to focus on who you are. The Great I AM. The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

As we cross over into the New Year, I pray our heart’s desire is to please you more. To not only be hearers of your word but doers.

Your word tells us you have great plans for our lives; plans to prosper us, to give us a future and a hope. Therefore, as we make our plans for the year, remind us to acknowledge you because you will make our paths straight.

We love you Lord. Thank you for the grace and mercy you bestow on us with each new morning. We don’t deserve it but are thankful for your love towards us. What a Love!

In Jesus Name…Amen
