Today’s Prayer: Protection

Hello Everyone!! I pray you are well and are enjoying the first couple days of Spring!! I am grateful for the changing of the season. It is a reminder that nothing remains the same. Please know that if you are experiencing difficult circumstances, it won’t last always. Ecclesiastes 3:1 – “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens” (NIV).

Lord, thank you for your protection. Sometimes we take for granted the fact that we get home safely each day. But today we remember, and we say thank you for protecting us.

Each morning as we head out the door, we ask for your wisdom for the places we need to go and the decisions we need to make. Help us to walk in wisdom and understanding, as wisdom will watch over us and understanding will keep us safe. Remind us not to turn our back on your wisdom for it will protect and guard us.

We trust you because you are faithful as you strengthen and protect us from the evil one. For you are the God that goes with us, to fight for us against our enemies. Therefore, we will be strong and courageous because you uphold us with your righteous hand. We will not be dismayed by the darts the enemy throws our way, because YOU ARE OUR GOD; our refuge and our strength and a very present help in the time of trouble.

We know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you protect and watch over us! And for that we are grateful. Thank you for the victory!

In Jesus Name…Amen
